| What is the cost to join your site? | The cost is 0 Dollars! Yes
that's true, we don't believe in membership systems. There is no
signup fee and no monthly fee. For Programmers/ITs, we only charge a 5% or 5 Dollar commission whichever is greater on every project you win! So it means on a project $100 Project you pay only $5!!! For the Webmasters/Clients, we only charge a flat 5 Dollar commission for your completed project. |
| How does the site work? | You as a Webmaster/Clients place or create a project, and as a Service Provider place bids on a project you have the skills for. Be notified of new projects, bid on them, know if you are outbidded...and a whole lots more. |
| Do you have any Referral Program I could benefit from? | Yes...We will pay you a massive
50% of all commissions charged to users you refer to us...FOREVER!!! That means if you refer Programmers/ITs, you will earn $2.50 or 1.5% of the winning bid value (whichever is greater), every single time a Programmer/IT that you refer is chosen for a project. Additionally, if you refer Webmaster/Client, we will pay you a flat fee of $2.50 as soon as they choose a Programmer/IT to work on their project, or $10.00 if they decide to post a "Featured Project"! All amounts you earn from referring business to us are automatically added to your account, so it can help pay for projects, or you can request it to be withdrawn and we'll send it to you. you to bid on. Not only that we make it possible for you to work like
never before, by providing you paying customers while giving you options
like PayPal, money order, and wire transfers for receiving payments from
them. Because we will find you the best Programmers/IT at the price you want to pay. When you post a project on FreelanceOne.com, Programmers/ITs essentially compete for your business. It would take you a long time to request an estimate from as many programmers just by browsing the Internet, and you still wouldn't have any real competition going on. Here, Programmers/ITs bid on your project much like an auction. They can place a new bid if they see another Programmer/IT has placed a lower bid than there's, this will undoubtedly result in a low price for you. Plus, with no up front fees at FreelanceOne.com, you've got nothing to lose! Also, if you have ever had conflicts when agreeing on how to pay a Programmer/IT, you won't on FreelanceOne.com. You can deposit money in several different ways (credit card, check, etc.) and Programmers/IT can withdraw money in many ways too, which means you don't have to worry about payments! |
| PROJECTS AND BIDS | |
| Does it cost to post or create a project? | We only require you to have at least 5 USD in your account to cover the commission for a project. Its just gives the Programmer/IT an assurance of the project being genuine. |
| What are "Featured Projects"? | If you post or create a project and
check the box at the very end of
project creation, your account will be deducted $20 but will give you the
following benefits: - All types of bids allowed, hourly, partnerships. - No Commission Charged either to Webmaster/Client or Programmer/IT. - More exposure on the "Home Page" on our website. | How do I know who won the project? | If you have won, you will get a email from our servers, asking you to accept the project and both you can start the communication. You will also be notified if you do not win a project. |
| How do I cancel my bid? | When you are logged in your account, just click on "RETRACT YOUR BID" next to the project you want to have your bid extracted from. |
| Can I enter my contact information? | No, its against our policy. As we believe the commissions are so fair and the message board service the purpose of you getting all info needed that you don't need to enter any other contact info. |
| How do I update a bid I already placed on a project? | Just submit a new bid and your old one will automatically be removed. |
| How do I open or create a new project? | Click on the "Create Project" button. |
| Can I change the information I provided about my project? | Yes, login to the account management area and click on the "Edit" link beside the project you want to modify. You will be able to add additional information to your project, which will appear under your original description with the date and time you added the new info. All programmers who have already bid on your project will then be notified that you have added information to your project. |
| How do I close my project, extend it, or pick a programmer? | You can do all this by logging in to the account management area. Click on the "Manage Account" button |
| What does it mean if my project is frozen? | This means the end date you chose for the project has past. No programmers can place any new bids, you must either pick a programmer or extend the project. |
| Can I re-open a closed project? | No, you will have to open a new project. |

PAYMENTS AND FEES |

| Do I have to add money to my account? | Not right away, but eventually you will probably have to. If your account balance is below zero dollars for more than 30 days your account will be frozen. You will not be able to place any new bids on projects. |
| When do you charge your commission and how much will it be? |
Webmaster/Client As soon as you choose a
programmer for one of your projects (a winning bid) it will be
closed/archived and you will be charged a flat-fee of $5. |
| Do I have to be paid for projects through my FreelanceOne.com account? | No, you can get paid directly by the other person. It's just more convenient for you to use the FreelanceOne.com payment system. Note that you will still need to deposit money in your account to cover the commission we charge for completed projects. |
| What is the minimum amount I can transfer to a Programmer account? | Currently the minimum is $10. |
| How do I add money to my account? | Login to the account management area and click on the "Deposit Money" button. |
| Can I withdraw money from my account? | Yes, just click the "Withdraw Money" button in the account management area. You can currently request a check to be sent to you, a money wire, or receive payment through a PayPal account. Note that you cannot withdraw less than $30.00 at a time. |
| Can I transfer money to another Programmer on FreelanceOne.com? | No, there should be no need to pay other programmers if you do not have a projects with them. |

| How long does it take for you to send a withdrawal? | PayPal: within 48 hours. Check and bank wire: 1-2 times a week (at beginning and end of week). |
| When do I have to pay the project fee? | The fee is automatically deducted from your FreelanceOne.com account, no matter what your balance is at the time. You can deposit money into your account later to cover the fee. If your account remains below zero dollars for 30 days, it will be suspended. |
| Is there a fee to transfer money to a Programmer account? | No, there is currently no fee. |
